Ontario
is the premier destination in the world for snowmobiling! We have the largest
snowmobile trail system anywhere. In fact, we have more kilometres of groomed
snowmobile trails (49,000 km!) than we have of paved highways! By snowmobile
you can travel for thousands of kilometres through forests, logging roads, and
small villages. In fact, it is possible to enter Ontario by snowmobile from the
U.S. in the south, and exit either into Quebec, Manitoba, or the North West
Territories!
Presently we have an 5 day expedition by Snowmobile. We
will travel 850km around Algonquin Park (RAP Ride).
Snowmobiling doesn't get any better than this, so if this is your idea of a fun
snowmobile trip then Go For It!!
We have recently added an exciting (and award winning!) 3 day Highlands Snowmobile Safari in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands. You drive your Ski Doo (or other snowmobile) through some of the nicest forest in Ontario. This area is one of the best kept snowmobile secrets!
Both snowmobile safaris are only scheduled for midweek departutes, as the snowmobile trails are in much better conditions, are are generally safer since there are less people snowmobiling on them. If you have a group that wants to do a snowmobile safari over a weekend, we can arrange it, but we need quite a bit of advance notice to secure the hotels and snowmobiles, and there will be an additional cost.
