New Year's Eve Dog Sledding into the Future!

Greet the New Year on an exciting Dog Sledding adventure! Are you tired of doing the "same old" thing every New Year's? Looking for an exciting alternative? Well, this is the trip for you! An exhilarating, week long, dog sledding holiday in Algonquin Park. We will be staying in a Wilderness Eco-Lodge, deep in the woods, and spending the days exploring the vast forests! The first 4 days of this trip are spent dog sledding, and you will be taught everything you need to know to control your own sled team. Everyone gets their own team of 6-8 dogs (with 2 people/sled), and you are responsible for caring for them - even feeding them. It won't take too long before you've memorized all their names, and even get to know their personalities! It's an experience you won't soon forget.

The last 3 days of this trip are spent Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing on the private, groomed trails.

The Eco-Lodge is so secluded that we have to hike 2.7 km through Algonquin Park just to get to it! A little bit of luxury in the middle of the forest. It comes complete with a wood cabin (with basic rooms), a beautiful large wooden lodge, an outdoor hot tub, and even a sauna! After a fun day on the trails, we'll be treated to a delightful "home cooked" dinner, and then we can relax by the blazing fire in the lounge. A good time to read that book you've been meaning to read, or perhaps play a board game with the other guests. Definitely relaxing!
