A wilderness canoe trip in Algonquin Park is an unforgettable adventure! These are just some of the experiences you will enjoy on a guided canoe trip in Algonquin Park!

Canoeing in Algonquin Park

Call Of The Wild provides transportation from Toronto, so we can pick you up there or meet you in Algonquin Park if you prefer to drive yourself. We also provide all the camping equipment, meals, permits, and an experienced guide. The guide is there to reveal to you the many hidden splendours of Algonquin Park, but not to do all the work! If we did all the camping chores it would take a lot of the fun away from the adventurers! You will be paddling your own canoes (after guiding some guidance from us), pitching your own tents, and helping with lighting the campfires and preparing the meals. After a trip into Algonquin Park with us you will feel that you can truly say that have answered the "call of the wild"!

Algonquin Park

Only 3 hours north of Toronto, Algonquin Park is Ontario's oldest Provincial Park, and one of the largest in Canada. It is even larger than several European countries! Algonquin boasts over 7700 square kilometres, with over 2000 fresh water lakes. Within the borders of Algonquin Park can be found deer, moose, beaver, wolves, bears, and many other wild animals, all in their natural habitats and, for the most part, untouched by Man.

Algonquin Park is so big, and so varied, that one end of Algonquin can have entirely different weather from the other end! In fact, it can be compared to several countries in size! Algonquin Park is 1.5 times larger than Prince Edward Island, 1/4 the size of Belgium, 3 times larger than Luxembourg, 7 times larger than Hong Kong, and roughly the same size as Wales! We have canoe trips going to several different locations within Algonquin Park - it takes more than one canoe trip to truly "see" Algonquin!
